Company history
LVI history in short

After more than 80 years of experience in the heating business, LVI is today Sweden’s leading producer of oil-filled electric radiators. At the factory in Järpås in the West of Sweden, we produce environmentally friendly radiators out of high-quality Swedish steel, designed for the Nordic winter.
Here, we also produce electric towel warmers for cosy, warm towels and a better climate in your bathroom. In 1999, we enlarged our business by acquring the production of electric radiators in cast granite, the Milo radiator. This product with its good heating characteristics matches well to our product range. As well as oil, granite absorbes heat and spreads it then by gentle, even radiation.
LVI was founded in 1922 under the name Lidköpings Värmeledningsindustri. At that time, all heating was water-bound. In 1973, LVI started to produce oil-filled electric radiators. Today, LVI has some 90 employees and a turnover of about 222 mill. SEK.
LVI is part of Rettig Sweden AB.
